On the first lap John dePlanque's nice Volvo 142E tries a pass in turn three and we come together. I continue through as John spins across the front of my car.

Coming out of turn ten, at the end of the first lap, I get a real good run on a bunch of cars and go for a pass. Three wide on the main straight, Court Wilson is inches from my door at full speed.

First two laps, including my fastest lap yet at Summit Point, 1:32.5. I got hosed on the start and everybody ahead of me just took off, although none of the cars behind me got by. I passed some cars in T1, but Charlie Broring gets by me entering 3 in his Volvo. Pete Cage's 2002 come by real fast as we approach in T10. Next time through T3 Charlie gets squirrely and I pass him before the chute.

First lap. It rained all weekend for the MARRS Double at Summit Point this year. This race took place in a brief spot of sun between storms, although the track was absolutely soaked. Watch the SSC Civic Si, two cars in front of me, spin in the Chute. Then watch Alton Fryar's silver 2002 slide off-track in Turn 5. The excitement starts when I lose it completely in the rain-soaked Carousel.
